Short answer: Gatwick’s own Chapel and Prayer page says its permanent chapel and prayer rooms “are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week” in both the North and South Terminals and are multi-faith. The North Terminal also has a temporary multi-faith prayer room after security, close to the lounges, open 04:00–22:00, with prayer mats, a marked Qibla and a separate space for women, but “no washing facilities”. We found no airport or outlet page that calls a Gatwick restaurant halal, so halal food is marked Not checked yet.

Third-party halal directories and older news items name restaurants at Gatwick, but we could not confirm any of them on the airport’s or the outlet’s own site, so we do not list them. Ask the outlet directly, or pre-order a halal meal: see which airlines serve halal meals and our guide to halal food at airports.
Practical tips for praying at Gatwick
- The temporary North Terminal room has no washing facilities. If you want to make wudu first, plan for that before you reach the room.
- The page does not say whether the permanent rooms are before or after security. Check the directions on the page, or ask an information desk, before you pass security.
- For prayer on board, see keeping your salah schedule on long flights.
