Booking a holiday as a Muslim family, couple or group of women often means reading between the lines. “Halal-friendly” can mean a fully alcohol-free resort with a secluded women-only beach — or a hotel that simply has a prayer mat on request. VacationHalal exists to close that gap.
What we do
We write independent guides to halal-friendly holidays, starting with all-inclusive beach resorts and private-pool villas in Türkiye. For every property we cover, we show:
- What is claimed — women-only beach or pools, private pool, alcohol policy, halal food.
- Where the claim comes from — the property’s own website, a booking platform listing, or a written reply from the property.
- When we last checked it — because seasons, rules and facilities change.

Who runs VacationHalal
VacationHalal is an independent project. We are not a travel agency, tour operator or hotel, and we don’t sell holidays ourselves.
How we are funded

What we are not
- Not a halal certification body. When we say “alcohol-free” or “women-only”, we report what a named source states — we don’t certify it.
- Not a booking agent. Bookings, payments and cancellations are handled by the platform or property you book with.
