Short answer: Heathrow’s own page says multi-faith prayer rooms “are available in every terminal” and lists ten locations across Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5, most of them after security near the gates. Wudu (ablution) facilities are listed for Terminals 3, 4 and 5, but not for Terminal 2. The page gives no opening hours. On October 24, 2026 we found no Heathrow or outlet page that calls a Heathrow restaurant halal, so halal food is marked Not checked yet below.

Search results for “halal food Heathrow” point to booking-platform listings for restaurants and hotels near the airport, not to terminal outlets, so we leave them out. Practical tips for praying at Heathrow
- Terminal 2 has two prayer rooms after security, but Heathrow lists no wudu facilities there. If you want to make wudu in a dedicated area, the listed wudu points are in Terminals 3, 4 and 5.
- In Terminal 5 the Check-in Zone A room is listed as temporary. Check the official page on your travel day, because temporary rooms can move.
- Heathrow does not publish prayer room hours on this page. If you plan to pray at a specific time, contact the chaplaincy at multifaith@heathrow.com before you fly.
- For prayer during the flight itself, see our tips on keeping your salah schedule on long flights.
